Membership Categories & Dues
AAA membership runs on a calendar year, January 1 to December 31 annually. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to discuss options for joining AAA mid-year.
Active Member – Single State Provider
Voting Member | $255 per ambulance with a cap of $10,000
Any organization engaged in the business of providing fee for service ground ambulance transportation which meets the standards of the Board of Directors including governmental organizations, and is not eligible for any other membership category. Single State Providers receive one (1) vote for every twenty (20) declared ambulances up to five (5) votes total.
- 20 Ambulances One (1) Vote
- 21 – 40 Ambulances Two (2) Votes
- 41 – 60 Ambulances Three (3) Votes
- 61 – 80 Ambulances Four (4) Votes
- 81 + Ambulances Five (5) Votes
Active Member – Multi-State Provider
Voting Member | $10,000 for the 1st State and $1,785 for each additional state
Any organization engaged in the business of providing fee for service ground ambulance transportation which meets the standards of the Board of Directors including governmental organizations, and is not eligible for any other membership category. Multi State Providers maintain an ambulance operation in two or more states and operates more than one hundred (100) ambulances.
Active/Multi State Providers receive five (5) votes for the first state and one (1) vote for each additional state in which it maintains an ambulance operation.
Non-Voting Member | $2040
Any person, partnership, corporation or other entity engaged in the manufacture, sale, rental or servicing of equipment or furnishing of services utilized in the provision of medical transportation. Affiliate Members receive a listing in the online Vendor Guide.
Non-Voting Member | Dues below
Any entity engaged in the business of providing ambulance or public safety services which are government-operated fire departments, aeromedical services or ambulance services which are staffed predominately by unpaid volunteers.
Government Provider Annual Dues: $1,020
Aeromedical Provider Annual Dues: $1,530
Volunteer Provider Annual Dues: $255 for 1 – 10 ambulances or $510 for 11+ ambulances
Non-Voting Member | $510
Any entity engaged in the business of providing member benefits to ambulance service providers for a specific geographic region in the United States. The benefits of membership for the state association category belong solely to the primary contact. All member communications including E-updates, calls for action, member advisories and newsletters cannot be distributed to the state association members without written prior consent of the AAA staff. Special member rates and discounts do not apply to the state association members but applies to the primary contact on the state association member application.
Non-Voting Member | $255 per ambulance with a cap of $10,000
Any entity engaged in the business of providing fee for service ground ambulance transportation outside of the fifty (50) states and territories of the United States, which meets the standards established by the Association’s Board of Directors from time to time, and provided that the entity is not eligible for any other Association membership category.
